2011 Alchemist Pinot Noir

Willamette Valley

There’s a science, but also a bit of magic that goes into blending our Alchemist wines. To make this carefully crafted Pinot Noir, we source our fruit from our favorite parts of our partners’ vineyards, drawing and blending from the beautiful palette of the Willamette Valley to create a refined and intensely vibrant wine, rich with red berry fruits. This is a wine for elevating everyday moments to the realm of art.

Tasting Notes: Cherry, raspberry and cinnamon

2011 – 88 Points
Good vineyard sources and a flavorful mix of raspberry, cranberry and rhubarb characterize this aromatic and spicy Pinot Noir. Well-balanced and lightly herbal, it finishes with medium length and should be consumed over the next 3–5 years.

2011 Alchemist Chardonnay

Willamette Valley

The Alchemist magic also makes its way into our Chardonnay, which is crafted using modern winemaking techniques and equipment that allow us to preserve the inherent freshness and brightness of the Oregon Chardonnay grapes we choose in small lots from select vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Showcasing crisp, ripe fruit flavors and a hint of citrus, this is a thoughtful, approachable and creative wine that will keep you interested with every sip.

Tasting Notes: Pear, honey and lemon

2011 – 90 Points
Sourced entirely from the Carabella vineyard, this offers a pleasing blend of citrus, pineapple and pear fruit, with a backing of honey-laced lemon tea. It’s delicious and ready to drink.
